    We broke down 1,810 real Wordle answers — which letters show up most, where they sit, how vowels behave, and how often a letter repeats.

    Across 1,810 answers, the letter E shows up in 47% of them — more than any other. At the other end, J appears in just 1.1%. Knowing the shape of a typical answer is the quiet edge behind every good guess: it tells you which letters to test early and which to save.

    How we worked it out

    We tallied every letter, position, vowel, double and edge across all 1810 real Wordle answers we have on record. Percentages are the share of answers that match — e.g. a letter’s percentage is how many answers contain it at least once.

    The corpus is 1,810 real Wordle answers we’ve tracked. Position stats count the letter sitting in each of the five slots; double-letter stats count answers where any letter appears more than once.
